How can I deposit money into my LeoPay account?

There are two ways to deposit money into your LeoPay account - via debit/credit card and via bank transfer.

How can I deposit money in my LeoPay account via bank transfer?

You can make a bank transfer to your LeoPay currency account via online or mobile banking or at your nearest branch. Here is how to find your account details which you can use to make a transfer:

  • LeoPay Web Platform - Log in to your LeoPay account and go to “Funding” → “Bank Transfer” then select the account you wish to deposit money in and your account details will be shown.
  • LeoPay Mobile App - Log into your LeoPay account and go to “Menu” → “Accounts”. Select the currency account you wish to deposit money in and your account details will be shown.

Note

  • LeoPay does not charge any fees for bank transfers however, the bank making the transfer to your LeoPay account may charge transaction fees.
  • Your money will reflect in your LeoPay account the next business day.

How can I deposit money in my LeoPay account via credit/debit card?

We currently support MasterCard, Maestro, Visa and Vpay credit/debit cards, which you can use to fund your account instantly. Here are the steps you need to follow:

  1. Store the credit/debit card that you would like to use to fund your LeoPay account.
  2. Verify and confirm your stored card.
  3. Use the card to instantly fund your account:
    • LeoPay Web Platform - Log in to your LeoPay account and go to “Funding” → “Via Credit or Debit Card”, select the stored card, choose the account you wish to transfer from and enter the amount. If you are using our recently updated Web Platform, go to “Funding” →choose the LeоPay account you wish to transfer funds to, select stored card and enter the amount.
    • LeoPay Mobile App - Log in to your LeoPay account, go to “Fund”, enter the amount you wish to deposit into your LeoPay account, select the stored card and choose the account you wish add funds to.

Note

  • For security reasons we limit deposits from non-verified stored cards. If you wish to remove these restrictions, you must first verify and confirm your stored card.
  • There is a small transaction fee on our end for funding your account via credit/debit card. Please refer to our Tariff page for more info.

How do I link and store a debit/credit card?

  • LeoPay Web Platform - Log in to your LeoPay account and go to “Funding” → “Via Credit or Debit Card” → “Use New Credit/Debit Card” and enter your card details. If you are using our recently updated Web Platform, go to “Cards” → “Stored cards” → “Store new card” and enter your card details.
  • LeoPay Mobile App - Log in to your LeoPay account, go to “Fund” → “+” and enter your card details.

Note

  • ID verified users can store up to 5 debit/credit cards, whereas non-verified LeoPay clients can store a maximum of 2 credit/debit cards.
  • One credit/debit card can only be linked to one LeoPay account.

How do I verify and confirm a stored credit/debit card?

For security reasons we limit deposits from non-verified stored cards. If you wish to remove these restrictions, you must verify and confirm your cards. Once you have successfully stored a new credit/debit card to your LeoPay account, we will debit the card for 1.00 EUR (debit transaction) and will send a security code with information for this transaction. The charge will appear in your online banking card statement of your bank, with a 4-digit security code and the word “leopay.eu CODE****”. If you view your card statements online, you can check for the code in a few days. Otherwise, check for the code when you receive your next statement in the mail.

Here is how to confirm your stored card using the 4-digit LeoPay code:

  • LeoPay Web Platform - Log in to your LeoPay account and go to “Profile” → “Stored Cards” select “Verify” next to the card you wish to confirm and enter the 4-digit LeoPay Security Code from your statement. If you are using our recently updated Web Platform go to “Cards” → “Stored Cards” and click on the “Verify card” button.
  • LeoPay Mobile App - Log in to your LeoPay account, go to “Fund”, select the card you wish to verify, click on → “Verify” and enter the 4-digit LeoPay Security Code from your statement.
  • When your card is confirmed, we will refund the 1.00 EUR that was debited from your card.

How can I delete a stored card from my LeoPay account?

  • LeoPay Web Platform - Log in to your LeoPay account and go to “Profile” → Stored Cards” and press “Delete” next to the stored card you wish to delete. If you are using our recently updated Web Platform, go to “Cards” → “Stored cards” and click on the “Remove” button.
  • LeoPay Mobile App - Log in to your LeoPay account, go to “Fund”, select the stored card you wish to delete, click on → “Delete”.
