Can I open a business account?

Does it cost money to open and maintain a LeoPay business account?

Setting up a LeoPay business account is super easy and completely free – there are no minimum monthly balance or turnover requirements, no activation fees, no monthly or yearly maintenance costs and as a client of ours, you get the following for free:

  • 2 FREE contactless VISA cards for international payments with NO FEES for online and POS payments.
  • 24/7 access to all your accounts and funds via the web portal and the mobile app.

How to setup a LeoPay business account?

Setting up a LeoPay business account is free, simple and only takes a few minutes. To start the sign-up process, press the "GET STARTED" button on the Home page, select the country where your business operates and the specify the legal form of your entity. Then, proceed with the following steps:

  1. Fill out your contact and business information and enter the company’s director details. Review and confirm the legal agreements by entering the SMS code received on the phone number entered in the registration form.
  2. Validate your company email address by locating the LeoPay confirmation email in your inbox.
  3. Download our mobile app from the Google Play or App Store and verify your identity directly within app through a short 5-minute video ID verification call with one of our friendly operators.
  4. Upload any additional documents required by our verification team directly within your LeoPay Web account (Log into your LeоPay account, go to “Profile“ -> “Documents“ -> “Upload document“). If you are using our recently updated Web Platform, click on your name at the top of the page and scroll down to “Upload document“.
  5. Order your business card and start using your LeoPay account, as soon as your verification is complete.


  • We require the person opening the account to perform the video ID verification call.
  • Following the 5-minute video call, you will receive further instructions on your registered email with the documents, required to verify the company’s identity.
  • The required documents vary by country and are dependent on the company’s legal form.
  • If you are the person opening the account, but you are not а company director, you will be asked to upload a valid “Power of Attorney” following the successful video ID verification call. Here, you can find а template you can use. (Power of attorney template)

Can I hold multiple currencies?

Yes, LeoPay allows you to open multiple free accounts directly from your dashboard in the following currencies: EUR, USD, GBP, CHF, HRK, BGN, JPY, RON, PLN, CZK and ISK. We will be adding loads more currencies soon!

How many currency accounts can I have with my LeoPay business account?

LeoPay business clients can open up to 3 currency accounts with dedicated IBANs for each currency supported by our platform. If you need more than 3 accounts per currency, you can contact our customer support hello@leopay.eu / 0044 20 3129 0935.
